Phone not charging, or the cable won't go all the way in? Most of the time the port isn't broken. Dust and pocket fluff build up inside it and stop the cable from making proper contact.
Our in-store Charging Port Cleaning Service gets rid of that build-up using precision tools and a special cleaning solution that dissolves the dirt inside the port. In most cases this fixes the problem without replacing the port, which can be far more expensive.
Please don't try this at home
We don't recommend cleaning the port yourself. The contact points inside are very delicate and easily damaged with the wrong tools, such as pins, needles or toothpicks. Poking around inside the port can also cause a short circuit, turning a quick clean into a costly repair.
