Forest Hill, Honor Oak and Honor Oak Park make up SE23, a hilly stretch of south-east London where Fix It London provides same-day IT support and computer repair. We are often called to a Victorian house near the Horniman Museum where the Wi-Fi gives up on the top floor, or to a flat on Dartmouth Road where a laptop has become unusable. Rather than asking you to carry the machine anywhere, we send an engineer to your home.
Before purchasing this service, we recommend contacting us first to confirm availability for your preferred date and time. This helps speed up the booking process and avoids unnecessary delays, such as issuing refunds if no technician is available at your chosen slot. Once you speak with our booking team, they can also take payment over the phone. Alternatively, you may choose to pay via bank transfer or cash in person.

Everyday computer problems in Forest Hill
The steep terraces and tall semis of SE23 are full of home offices tucked into attics, and signal rarely climbs that far without help, so we install mesh systems most weeks here. The area has a large creative and freelance population, so we see many MacBooks with worn batteries, failing keyboards and liquid damage, plus external drives of design work that have stopped mounting. Older residents ask about printers, scam emails and desktops that take ten minutes to start.
At-home repairs
We book a slot that fits around work and school, including evenings and Saturdays. The engineer diagnoses the fault, agrees a fixed price and completes most jobs there and then. Anything needing workshop time means a spare laptop for you. Every repair carries a 12-month warranty on parts and labour.
Business IT in Forest Hill and Honor Oak
Dartmouth Road, London Road and Honor Oak Park’s parade house cafés, bakeries, estate agents, studios and small clinics, and there are craft and trade businesses in the units off Perry Vale and Stanstead Road. We set up Microsoft 365, keep backups and antivirus current, build secure Wi-Fi and wired networks and offer a monthly support contract so there is always an engineer to call.
